So I officially have 44 days before we start the trek to Florida. There is only 46 days till check in. I am stoked. I have been sitting here trying to do my stats homework and failing miserably. I have been working my butt off to be smaller for FL. I go to the gym 6 times a week with my momma and we are eating extremely healthy. I plan to keep following the Body For Life program while in FL.
I can’t wait to be finished with school and my job. I’m excited because there is a nice lady in FL that some of my friends know that will basically be my FL contact while I”m down there. She is going to introduce me to her church type thing. Sooo excited.
And Abby B and I are officially roommates…long story there….lol
Unfortunately I haven’t been updating this as much as I should, why? because I’ve been to busy vlogging. If you can even call it that, I tend to post songs more. So I figured I should enlighten you all on my life and what has been going on.
As you know I was waiting to hear back from the Disney College Program.
Well, I have heard and…..I GOT IN! Feb. 15, 2011 I received an e-mail that I had been accepted into the program for QSFB! I will be making $ 7.56 an hour which is a horribly huge difference from what I am making now but its Florida so it doesn’t matter. My check in date is May 23!
Now I really can’t wait for Florida. I want to give a shout out to two of my potential roommies Abby Boudreaux and Emily Felton. Emily as been accepted already and Abby is still pending so please keep her in your prayers. I’d also like to shout out to my two new friends Luke and Mandi. You have all been so great to me during this journey and I can’t wait to meet you all in person.
Once upon a time, in a far distant town with a strange title called Wolcott; there lived a woman with a dream. A dream so great that even she thought of it as nearly impossible. What is this dream you may ask? The dream was and is still currently to work at the greatly known Disney world. In pursuit of this dream, this woman applied for the Spring 2011 Disney College Program. She interviewed and waited. This woman got a letter September 4th 2010 telling her that she was being pended due to Disney needing more time to make a decision. After a long and grueling wait, she was eventually rejected on December 5th, 2010.
Now that she had fallen, she was determined to get back up and apply again. She was not going to let one small set back ruin her dream. So this woman applied for the Fall Advantage Program for 2011 on January 21st 2011 and had her interview January 27th 2011. This time the interview was far better than the first, her interviewer was kind and agreed with all she said. But now the wait has begun to hear the final decision…will she make it in? No one knows….yet.
